WELCOME RECEPTION
Welcome Reception will take place on Saturday, 20th September 2008 at 20:30h on the restaurant Neptun terrace and on the Riva in front of it.


GALA DINNER IN ISTRIAN COUNCIL HOUSE
CITY OF POREC
Originally a Gothic Franciscan Church from the 13th century the interior of the building was made into Baroque style in the mid 18th century. On the ceiling there is Baroque plastering with illusionistic frescoes in medallions.
During the last century this building was used for assemblies of the Istrian Parliament and even today the District Parliament holds its formal sessions there, as well as the choir concerts and painting exhibitions. Last spring, in the courtyard behind the Assembly Hall, early Christian floor mosaics were found, probably from the church of S.Thomas the Apostole.

FAREWELL CONCERT IN ST. FRANCIS CHURCH
CITY OF PULA
The Farewell Concert will be organized in the church of St. Francis in Pula. It's a Romanesque style structure containing Gothic style windows from the 14th century situated directly in the historical center of the city. It is skilfully crafted with fine stonework from that period. The monastery houses a collection of stone monuments and recreations of Istrian Murals. Because of it's acoustic characteristics the church is famous venue for classical concerts troughout the year.


GUIDED TOURS

VELI BRIJUN EXCURSION

Excursion with panorama-train over the Veli Brijun island. Drive trough safari park and Verige bay - bay with ruins of roman villa rustica that date back from the 1st century AD, followed by the visit to the natural history collection, foto exibition "Tito on Brijuni islands" and small St. German church with exibition of frescoes and glagolitic (croatian medieval alphabet) . Excursion ends with a visit to the 17-century-old olive tree.

MALI BRIJUN EXCURSION

Excursion includes island sightseeing by boat and visit to the 19th century Austro-Hungarian fort Brioni Minor.
